3 Tips to Help You Get Top Dollar on Your Home Sale

3 Tips to Help You Get Top Dollar on Your Home Sale

Every home seller wants top dollar, but only those who prepare properly will get it. Here’s how you can do that.

How It Works
Get A Fair Cash Offer

The other day, my client Steve asked me, “How can I get the most money possible for my home sale?” I broke it down for him with three tips, which I’ll also share with you today:

1. Get the most amount of exposure you can. This means that you want a lot of showings. You also want your home on a lot of different websites. Try to make the home as available as possible for showings and be as accommodating as possible. It will increase the probability of a high offer.

2. Make sure your home is properly staged and prepared. Make sure all of the major improvements have been done. If you can update things like paint and carpet, that’s great. If you can update your kitchen and bathrooms, that’s great as well. All of this will have a huge impact on the price you receive.

Try to make the home as available as possible for showings.

3. Price the home correctly. Some homeowners want to list high and bring down the price later. However, pricing low is a smarter strategy. It gets more people interested in the home, and can encourage bidding wars that will get you that high price.

If you are thinking about selling your home soon, give us a call for a free in-home evaluation and consultation, where we’d be happy to show you what it would look like to sell your home through using all three of these tips or none of them at all.
